When can we go on this trail system? How do we drive to unload to camp ️ along it?
Do we have to be a member to utilize this maps system?
I love on McKenzie river
I kayak and hike a lot and snorkel at near by creeks but would love to do all three on the Willamette river.

The Willamette Water Trail is rustic first come first serve camping. People access these campsites via the river and use public access points like boat ramps to plan their trips. The website gives a lot of information about the water trail and i see you ordered a new map which will help you start with your trip planning. Seems like the map on page 68 is messed up, you have Oregon City placed in Milwaukie and the corresponding maps don’t match the page numbers???

The map on water resistant paper used to be free.
Now $24-27???

Hello Dawn,
The printed maps and PDF versions of our old map have always been sold on our store. We used to have two guides that covered the entire Willamette and they sold for $12 each. We updated the maps in June of 2023 and consolidated them into one map and we are charging $24, so basically the same price. A few years ago at events, we started giving away the old lower Willamette Map when we started working on the new version. We ran out of the old Upper River map several years ago. Eventually, I believe a PDF version of the map will be available, but we will charge for that as well. You can save the shipping costs by going to one of the retailers that carries the map-REI Portland, REI Tualatin, Alder Creek, Peak Sports or Oregon Paddle Sports.
The old version still works fine. There are just some additional campsites and amenities updates.
