   Hi Karen, The Upper and Lower Water Trail maps, while still quite accurate, were printed in 2006 – 2007. Since their printing, the river has changed course slightly in a few areas, islands have shifted, and new sites and features have been developed and added to the trail. In addition, inventory for the Upper map has completely run out.

   With all this in mind, Willamette Riverkeeper has secured grant funding for a new Water Trail map project. Our goal is to re-map, re-design, and re-print one comprehensive guide. This is a significant undertaking for our non-profit organization. We aim to have this project completed by late fall of 2021.

   Until then, we will be offering a digital scanned file of the Upper and Lower maps in or web store very soon, while the print version of the Lower map remains avaialble. Thanks!

   Hello Eric,
   We do have the Lower Willamette River Guides still available and you can order those online. We also will have a new guide coming out in early 2023 that includes the entire Water Trail. We will announce it on our website and send out a notice in our newsletter when they become available. We are very excited for the new ones to be available for folks.

    Hello Kris,
    There is not a sign up list for the new guide, but that is a good idea. I imagine there will be a big announcement, so as long as you are on one of our mailing lists you should be notified. It is at the printer, so I imagine it should only be a couple weeks.
