Another large property suitable for primitive camping on the upper bench area with relative solitude (although nearby Tripp Island offers a nicer camping experince with more space and campsite options).

Large flat area. Kinda muddy. Not the nicest place to camp, but workable.

I’m not sure if the large island immediately downstream is legal camping or not, but it’s a far superior site. Right at the top of the island, large gravel beach with an easy take-out and great views. Left channel not passable by mid to late summer. (Note from the moderator: Yes, you can camp on Tripp Island loacated at RM 125, not labled on the first edition of the Water Trail map).
