    There are a few great campsites on the west side of the island. We easily fit our 8 canoes and party of 16.

    Lovely campsites with easy-to-catch eddies river right in the left channel. Some house/farm buildings visible upstream, but not obtrusive. Heavy vegetation makes exploration of the island difficult.
