Maurie Jacobs Park/River House Outdoor Program
This makes a good stop in the Eugene area. The large “River House” eddy on the west side is bordered by a gently sloping grass shoreline. As part of the City of Eugene’s Recreation Division, the Outdoor Program has a long history of providing canoe and kayak instruction for area residents. Classes offer a wide array of trips for all age groups.
