Keizer Rapids Park… has no actual rapids folks!

There is no longer a campsite at this park, but there are new amenities not featured on the first edition Water Trail maps.

There is a boat ramp here, restrooms, as well as a large playground. There is a public boat rack here that you may use to lock your paddle craft onto (must have your own cable and lock) if you need to run a shuttle.

The upland portion of the park has a stand of second-growth forest that nestles against the cottonwoods and willows on the gravel bar at the river’s edge.

Comments

  1. Keizer Rapids Park is a good launch spot and for leaving cars overnight. Plenty of free parking and easy access to water with launch. If leaving cars overnight, recommend advising Keizer Parks Operations, 503-856-3569. We talked to Robert Johnson, johnsonr@keizer.org

  2. Parking permits can be secured in advance through the Keizer Parks website. Link to the web-form below!
