This OPRD parcel has a steep and difficult bank, making any access very problematic. This is no longer a viable camp site. Improved access is a priority for this site in Willamette Water Trail Master Plan.

I live in the area, is there a parking lot and trail i can be directed to access this point on the river?

Hello Michael,
Many of the access points on the water trail are from the water perspective. Sidney Access does not have trail access to the river and even from the river it is very steep.
Your closest place you can access the river by land is at Buena Vista Park and the next spot is in Independence, which is about a 10 mile stretch.
